Our staff are especially aware of the vigilance needed due to the pandemic and are constantly working to ensure your safety and ours. We monitor professional recommendation’s regularly to ensure that our treatment methods are accurate.
Our staff will be wearing masks as well as face shields when needed. We require all who arrive for appointments to wear masks in the waiting room. As always, care givers are welcomed and encouraged in the treatment rooms.

Welcome from Robert L. Edmonstone D.D.S. Pediatric Dentistry! Our dedicated team is proud to be treating the smiles of infants through young adults, as well as special needs of all ages. We provide a full range of routine and complex dental procedures in a child friendly environment. As a board-certified pediatric dentist, Dr. Edmonstone focuses on preventive care and education to help each child grow a healthy smile that will last a lifetime.

Dr. Edmonstone, a pediatric dentist completed an additional three years of intensive training after completing his dental school program, which combines clinical instruction along with a deepened knowledge of children and their needs. This specialized training allows for your child’s smile to be cared for – from their first tooth eruption through young adulthood.
Our office serves infants, children, teens and persons with special health care needs in Southeastern Connecticut Shoreline and surrounding areas. We offer emergency Dental services and can be reached on our main line at (860) 388-0142. When calling, you will be redirected to reach the Dentist, if you are calling after hours. We accept all major dental insurances including Husky A, B, C and D, United Concordia, Cigna PPO and DHMO, Delta NJ PPO & Premier, Anthem BC/BS and most other major dental insurance.
